2017 marks ten years of solo activities under the guise of Rambutan for Eric Hardiman. Rambutan operates deep from a bunker in upstate New York, creating a wide variety of sounds with little to no regard for continuity or expectation. Hardiman also runs the Tape Drift label and plays in a slew of groups, including Century Plants, Burnt Hills, Chalaque, Twilight of the Century, Sky Furrows, Mensheviks, and Location Ensemble. "Crawling in the Margins" is his first Scottish release and is co-dedicated to fellow sonic travellers and sources of inspiration, Brian Lavelle and Andrew Paine.
